Sorry for lack of information the last days and weeks…
…now its time to put something on our homepage!
There was hardly to read anything aout what we wanna do around that G8 summit … but we are already there.
Inspired by the radical stuff the prophets in the Old Testament - we see it as one of our goals to put our fingers on wounds and to speak out against injustice.
Since our foundation in November 06 as a network of political oriented christians this is the first time we go to public in Germany - with activists and artists from Görlitz and Hannover, Amsterdam and London, Leipzig, Lüneburg and other places.
We want to break though classical borders between so-called “leftwing autonomes” and christian groups, between the culture of demonstrations and resistant art.
At the alternate summit we present different ideas of different networks. At the demonstrations we shuttle between so-called autonomes and christian block. And our chill-out tent you can find in the camp Reddelich - that tent is our base and point of peace.
We experienced a lot - and some of it we maybe will report here.
Here are some prayer requests:
-we want the the resistance movement to be heard. we are part of it.
-the topic force and violence. Violence does NOT dominate the protest movement - but it dominates the media and how other people see that whole movement. Would be better if the media would report about the WHOLE movement itself - and not some violence which might have happened. Much more - the media should rather report about the CONTENT of the protest movement. It is part of our task that the protest movement is heard in the public view.
-wisdom. It is kind of strange here - kind of parallel universe. Normality is not normal at events like that. It is normal that nothing is normal.
We want to be at the right places just at the right time - and we want to do just the right things. Sometimes it is a good question even what “right” or “normal” is…
-Protection, courage, energy and power. We just don’t know yet what will happen. Anything can happen. Government is often not as “just” or “fair” as many christians think… thats life…

Man, I’m really upset that I didn’t make it to Rostock, but I think about you guys all the time. Hope your workshop today went well. God bless you!!
